Well here we are in 2012. A brand new year to look forward to all that God has in store for us as Christians. We are so excited here at the ministry of the different programs that we are going to be doing soon!

Right now we are doing a great series on Mormonism and to show how they truly are not Christians. We will be airing this series through the month of January. Then in February we are going to tape a program on suffering with Michael Easley and Joni E. Tada. This is going to be a great series and one that you will not want to miss. In March we will be taping Jimmy DeYoung again about what is happening in prophecy right now. If you look back at this last year you can see how things that the Bible predicts are coming true! What an exciting time to be living in!

There are so many more things to come! Of course, we can't do any of this without your help and support! We thank the Lord for all of you! Our heart is to proclaim the gospel and to see people get saved! All we want to do is to preach the TRUTH and that is JESUS CHRIST!

Well, it is that time of the year again when there is so much going on that we forget the true meaning of this season. I know we hear that a lot but it is true! In the time when Jesus was born, they were not out shopping or having parties. In some ways, I wish it was that simple so we could just focus on Jesus and Him alone.

I hope that this will be the merriest christmas for you and for your family! I love the time that we can spend with family and focus on the fact that Jesus came to this earth to be born so He could die! He did that for us and there is no way we can ever repay Him for what He did! What a wonderful Savior!

We are thankful for those of you who support us and I pray that you will join with us as we serve our Lord this coming year!

This month is a wonderful reminder of God's faithfulness in our lives. We have gone through a period of a dry spell but the Lord continues to show that His work is still needed.

I always stress that we can't do this ministry without your help. I believe that the Lord's return is coming soon and I believe that the Lord has given us wonderful people to help us in spreading the gospel.

I hope that you will take time to give thanks for the blessings the Lord has give you and for your family too. I want to say thanks to all of our supporters and to let you know how much we appreciate you! The Lord is using you to help us spread His gospel in a world that now more than ever needs Him!

Right now we are working on getting ready for Christmas which is hard to believe! I went into Cracker Barrel the other day and they had in their store Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas inventory out to buy. Instead of buying one at a time, they lump everything together.

This is my favorite time of year! I love fall and they way in TN that the colors change on the trees and show their vibrant colors. It is also a reminder of how the Lord made the seasons and each one is unique!

We thank you for your prayers and support. We are starting a new series on Jehovah's Witness that we taped a few weeks ago. This is an updated version of the one we did in the 80's. This program is great for people who are confused about what JW's believe and how we can witness to them.

In December, we will be taping a new series on Mormonism. This is another one that we wanted to update and I think this will be very good because we have new people on the program who came out of Mormonism and want to share how Jesus changed their life!

So, we have some exciting programs coming up and we are also sending out our new christmas catalog this month. In it there are some great deals for Christmas that you can give to loved ones and friends as a special gift! Check it out on our website!

Today is the day that the Lord has made! This is something that we should say everyday! Everyday is a gift from Him! Here at the ministry we are thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord each day!

We have been given a task to preach the gospel to the world and the Lord has opened doors for us to preach his word into countries that we can't get into.

Your gift to our ministry helps us in this outreach. We are not supported by a church but only by people like you who help us. What an opportunity you have to help us and to reach the world for Christ while we have the chance!

I hope that you will pray for us and consider what you can do to help our ministry which is really the Lord's ministry.

It is hard to believe that August is here and we have only four months until Christmas! Hard to believe how fast this year is going.

The last two weeks we were out in California seeing some donors and my dad also had the privilege to speak at David Jeremiah's church in San Diego. I always love to hear my dad speak because he has a heart for evangelism and the night he spoke many came to know the Lord. What a blessing that their hearts were open to the gospel that night. I love going out to California but there is a lot of traffic and a lot of people. Very different from the east coast.

In the next couple of weeks we are going to be planning for the fall and deciding what programs we should do. I ask that you will pray for us as we decide and earnestly seek the Lord's advice for what we should do as far as programming is concerned. We thank the Lord for each one of you and what you mean to us. We can't do this ministry without your help and your prayers.

I have some exciting news to tell you about our fundraiser. We were able to meet the goal for right now but that does not mean we are out of the woods. On our 5:30 time on Daystar we were a little short but we had enough money come in to keep us on for right now.

What was interesting to me is that we were able to do this fundraiser through small gifts that were given to the ministry. We didn't receive any $10,000 gifts but ones that were $25,$100 etc. We thank the Lord for all of the gifts.

Like I said before, the Lord has given this ministry to my dad. This is our vineyard and we are using it to spread the name of Jesus and win souls to the Lord. Every week we get opposition which means we are doing something right. We not only need your support but your prayers as well.

Next week, we will be starting our new series with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung on prophecy. We love having Jimmy DeYoung on the program and he has so much knowledge about what God says on prophecy. This is going to be a great series and one that I hope you will get for your friends and family. I believe that we are living in the end times and we have a short amount of time to spread the gospel to the world.

As I am writing, today happens to be the Fourth of July! What a day to remember what our country was founded on and to pray for and thank the service men and women who have served our country and continue to do so.

This past month we have been trying to raise some money to stay on all our stations. This is something that my dad does not like to do but it is so expensive to be on the networks we are on and so we need help from everybody whether it be $5 to $5000 to $50,000. We are thankful for the people who have responded but we have not made our goal yet. We have to make the decision in the next two weeks what stations we will keep and what stations we are going to cut!

We believe that the Lord has given us these networks to spread the gospel. We have a short amount of time to do it and so we need not only your prayers but your help as well. Like I said every little bit helps. This is God's ministry and not ours. Will you help us continue God's ministry?

It has been awhile since I have written because our family was on vacation last week! We went to the beach for a week with my dad's family and it was beautiful! It is so refreshing to get away and to get rejuvenated.

This month we are showing different clips each week on tv in a special package called the "Future Generations" package. We couldn't do this ministry without your support! So, we are trying to raise money this month to help with the airtime bills that we have to keep showing our unique programs to people not only here in the US but overseas as well. Today as I am writing you, I heard from people in Australia, South Africa and Italy. All of these people watch our program on the Daystar network.

We need your help to spread the gospel to these nations! With the technology that we have it is so exciting to hear from people and how our programs have changed their lives. I believe that the Lord has opened the door to spread the gospel to the world today! We may not have tomorrow so we need to make the most of today.

One last thing I want to leave you with is that I heard Tim Tebow (who use to play for the Florida gators in football and now plays for the Denver Broncos) talk about on tv the other night the fact that because he wrote John 3:16 under his eyes during the National Championship that 94 million people googled John 3:16 because they had no idea what that was. This shows me that people need to hear the simple plan of accepting Christ and living for Him! Oh how this example excites me and it should for you too!

Well, things around here are slowly coming back! As far as the counties that were hit by the tornadoes, it will be years before they get back to normal. We need to continue to pray for all the people who have been affected. There are some sad stories that have come out and there are stories where people have a lot to be thankful for. They may have lost everything but they are alive.

The couple who works for us talk about the fact that you are one heartbeat away from eternity and that is how we need to live everyday! We don't know when our last day will be!

This month we are going to be showing clips from different programs that we have done over the years. It is going to be called our "Future Generations" package. This is something that we need to give our friends and family to help them in their walk with the Lord.

This past week has been a memorable one for us in Chattanooga. On Wednesday, we had about 25 tornadoes that came through the area. We have a couple that works for us that lives in Cleveland, TN and they lost their house. In the mean time, we were out of work for two days because of no power at the building. I hope that you will pray for the couple who works for us and for all the areas around Chattanooga. There are many cities near us that everything is gone! I hope that you will pray for these people as they have lost everything.

It reminds me that we have no guarantee for tomorrow. We don't understand why the Lord allows the tornadoes to hit some places and to miss other places. If you have ordered something from us or if you couldn't get through this was the reason why. Please bear with us as we are trying to get back in the game here at the ministry. Please pray for our state of TN and Georgia and Alabama as we start the cleanup recovery.

This past week has been very busy for us! In the midst of everything going on here at the ministry my dad had to go in for hernia surgery! He is home and recovering from that right now! There are just some things that have to be done and this was something that couldn't wait any longer. We are thankful the surgery went well and now my dad has to go through the process of healing. In the mean time, we are working on some new programs to air in a few weeks that we taped with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung on prophecy. We have done many programs with Dr. DeYoung on Revelation and Daniel and now we will also show what is currently happening in the world and a step by step through end time events. This is going to be something that everyone needs to watch and to buy for a friend or family member. When you listen to what is happening with countries such as Libya and Egypt you can read in the Bible what the Lord predicted would happen with these countries many years ago. It is exciting to hear and to know that the Lord is very close in coming back! We appreciate your support and there are so many doors that the Lord is opening for us and we thank Him for what He is doing!

Well here we are in April! Hard to believe how the months fly by. Right now we are doing a great series with Dr. David Jeremiah on the coming economic crisis. It is great information that we all need to hear and prepare for as well. There is always fear when we here of what is happening but we know the Lord is in control and will straighten everything out one day! I hope that you will tune in for this. Coming up after this series we will be doing the second series with Dr. Stephen Meyer who is the founder of the Intelligent Design Movement. Then after that we will be showing a series that we did with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung on prophecy and what is happening today. So, there are lots of exciting programs coming up. In the mean time, our social media outlets are growing and we are so excited of all the doors that the Lord is opening. I hope that you will continue to pray for us as we minister and for all that the Lord is allowing us to do. It is so neat to see the Lord work!

Well, spring is definitely in the air this week! It has been beautiful here in TN and the trees are gorgeous! Of course, people who have allergies are miserable right now but that is the price we have to pay when everything the Lord has made is coming out!

This week we are taping some programs with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. He actually came to our church this past Sunday and spoke about prophecy and what is happening in the world right now. Everything that is happening like in Libya and Egypt the Bible talks about in Ezekiel and Daniel. It's actually very exciting to see things happening right before our eyes that the Bible predicted so long ago. We can see that the Lord is coming back very soon!

This Sunday, we will begin our series on the economic crisis that we did with Dr. David Jeremiah. Please join us this week as we start this new series that is very eye-opening and something that we all need to know about and what we should as christians do about it! Dr. Jeremiah is a wonderful man that God is using to spread His word around. You will not want to miss this program!

We have had a good response to the science series we have been doing with Dr. Stephen Meyer on DNA and the cell. We have also had a good response with our Revelation series that we are doing with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung.

A few weeks ago I told you that we added a new time on the Daystar Network at 5:30 P.M. ET. We have had a good response on this added time. We are very thankful for the people who can watch us at that time. We pray that more people will be able to tune in!

On our website we have put up articles that deal with the earthquake that has happened in Japan. On a personal note I want to say that it is so wonderful to see people helping people and also people who are being patient waiting in line for food or gas. There has been no stealing or looting after this disaster. What a testimony to us and these people are not saved and look what they are doing! Just something for all of us to think about what we would do if a disaster happens to hit the United States again!

Today I was watching the news about the earthquake in Japan and the effects of the Tsunamis that are coming to Hawaii and even the west coast! Of all the natural disasters, earthquakes are something that we can't control. Kind of like hurricanes. I feel so bad for the people in Japan and especially for those who have lost loved ones in this terrific earthquake.

The Bible talks about in the end times that there would be more and more earthquakes that would take place. I believe this a sign that we are in the end times and that the Lord will be coming back soon! Because of this, the time is short to get the gospel out.

We are going to be doing a series soon with Dr. David Jeremiah about the financial difficulties and many other things that are taking place in our country. I believe this series is so important and one that all of us need to hear! Not only spiritually do we need to be ready but financially also.

Then in a few months we will have Dr. Jimmy DeYoung back to talk about the Middle East and all the things that are taking place that the Bible talks about. I will keep you up to date on when we will be airing this important series also.

It is hard to believe we are in the month of March! Last weekend we attended the yearly convention of the National Religious Broadcasters which was held in Nashville. It was a great convention where we made some great contacts, saw old friends and heard some wonderful speakers like Ravi Zacharias, James McDonald, and Chuck Swindoll to name a few.

I want to share a saying with you that I heard from one of the speakers. In a nut shell he said that God is never late but hardly is He ever early. How true this is. God is right on time for everything. This applies to every part of our life! It is especially true here at the ministry too!

This month we are doing a special series on science with Dr. Stephen Meyer. He discusses about the cell and how only a designer could have made us the way we are! It is so fascinating and I hope that you will watch the third program this weekend!

This weekend is the annual broadcasters convention that all broadcasters in radio and tv attend. Not only is it to gather with other christian broadcasters but there are many informative classes, seminars and meetings to help in the growth of ministry.

It is hard to believe that we have started a new month. February is a meaningful month to me because of two things. One is that today is my grandmother's birthday and she turns 84. Also, this is national heart month. This is important to me because of my dad having heart surgery a couple of years ago. I am thankful for doctors and for the medical technology we have to save people.

This month we will be starting a new series with Dr. Stephen Meyer that has to do with our DNA and our cells. He shows the evidence of how we can point to a designer based on what science show us how we are uniquely made. I hope that you will buy this series and give to your non-christian friends. The information that he presents is so fascinating.

We know that our time is short here based on all the events that are happening around the world. We so appreciate all of our donors and our family prays for all our donors. I hope that you will pray for us and pray that we will have wisdom in how to lead this ministry.

I wanted to give an update on our taping with Dr. David Jeremiah yesterday! We taped six programs and we hope to air them in March. We did them on his most recent book concerning the economy and what is going to happen if things don't change. He is a wonderful Bible scholar and we were so privileged to have him come and tape with us!

The programs that we are currently working on have to do with science and specifically about our DNA with Dr. Stephen Meyer. This is going to be a fabulous series and one I hope you will tell your friends and family to watch. I enjoyed listening to the series when we taped a few months ago and it shows not just what the Bible says but also what science shows.

I also want to say that we have certain people who give to us every month and they are apart of a club called the 3030 club where they give $30 every month or $1 a day. This month if you join us by subscribing to this club we will send you a wonderful book of programs put together in written form and also something that you can listen to in your car and at home. It is called "Facts That Matter". It is a product that we have put a lot of time into and I hope that you will considering joining and helping us every month toe spread the gospel. I have determined this year that I am going to update this blog hopefully every week! We had a busy December where we had lots of letters and materials going out plus we did two tapings. One was what we have been showing lately on the show with Dr. Mark Hitchcock on prophecy and the other was on science.

There are so many exciting things that are happening here at the show. One thing is that we have a gentleman on staff who is translating our books into spanish and hopefully very soon we will have those available. We also have many outlets on the internet where we are getting our books out and also where people can watch the show.

All of this would not be possible without your support for us. We are the only television show that deals with a different topic every month and we anwer the questions that you will not hear in your church. Our goal is to defend the gospel no matter what!

Pray for us next week because we will be interviewing Dr. David Jeremiah. I am so excited that we are going to have him come in and talk on his most recent book about the economy. We hope to air this in March.

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already here and there are four more Saturdays until Christmas! My how this year has flown by! I love this time of year and there is so much to be thankful for.

We have a busy December coming up. We have two tapings that we are doing and there are lots of orders and letters that will be going out of the ministry. At this time of year we thank the Lord for those of you who stand by us and support the work we are doing for the Lord. You will never know what that means to us!

It is hard to believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away! I do love this time of year! As I write this, I am also working on printing our December letter which I wrote this year! It gives a little update on our family as well as what is coming up this next month.

The month of December is going to be busy because not only do we have two mailings going out, materials going out, gifts going out but we also have two tapings that we will be doing. One is going to be on prophecy and one is going to be on science. I ask that you pray for us and our staff as we have a lot going on the next couple of weeks.

It is always interesting to me how when the month of December comes we try to cram everthing into one month. I realize it's Christmas but we could spread things out and do them throughout the year. I think that is why we dread the holidays because there is so much going on. I pray that this year you will look at your December and enjoy what Christmas is all about instead of dreading the month.

Our series on Traditional Marriage has been going well! We are thankful for the support that has come in and for the protection that the Lord has given us! We have had many people call in and say they have never watched us before and they just happened to be flipping through and saw us talking about traditonal marriage. They have been very thankful that we did a program like this. Before long we are not going to be able to say what we want to say and so it's vital that we do this now while we can.

This was something that happened in the news this week where someone was fired for what they said because of their beliefs and for using their free speech amendment. There are so many things like this happening around us that we don't even know and so this is the time to get out what we need to say to defend Jesus Christ.

I don't know about where you live but here in TN it has been beautiful! This is my favorite time of year when the trees are changing and it's getting cooler! I love all the seasons but fall is especially nice!

Here at the John Ankerberg Show we are working on things for Christmas and we are getting ready for our new series to come out in a couple of weeks on Traditional Marriage. We have three of the top men in the country who came in to talk about this important topic and how this affects all of us in one way or another. I hope that you will by this for your church or for a friend because it's important information that needs to get out.

It is amazing how when you plan to do things your way that God can change them around. That happened this week with a guest and so we have had to reschedule what we were going to do. Yet, we know that behind the change of plans that God has a reason for waiting. It always will come at the last minute but it is the right time on God's watch.

We need lots of prayer this month and next month when we start to air our series on Same Sex Marriage. Many people don't think it's important for them but it is. This is something that is taking over our country. Now adays you can't turn on the tv without them promoting this. This is a sin and we as christians need to stand up to the plate and defend biblical marriage.

We need prayer for protection and that people who are involved in this sin will repent and see the light.

We are getting into our busy months that lead up to Christmas. Pray for our staff as letters, materials, materials on the website and other places are going out. We thank you for standing with us and praying for us!

Today starts something that all christians should participate in. It is the 40 days of prayer. This is something that we as christians should not be told to do but do it auotmatically. Prayer changes things and we need to be more diligent in that. This is something that I found to be true. When I don't pray, things don't happen around me. I hope that you will join me in 40 days of prayer.

Here at the John Ankerberg Show we are praying for two specific programs that are coming up. The first one is a program we did with a pastor in town on Discipleship. This is something that everybody needs to have as a resource to better help other people in their growth with the Lord. The great commission is a command for us to reach the world with the gospel of Christ. We are going to provide study guides that go along with the dvd on discipleship and we will have another study guide that goes along with a part of our series on how you and a small group of people can study the word together and grow in the Lord together. I hope that you will not miss this series.

The other program that we will be taping at the end of the month will be about same sex marriage and what the states (in particular California) are deciding. We will have some of the top experts on this topic talk about what is happening in America today and also how this is influencing people. You see this everywhere including what Hollywood is putting out. Please pray for this program as this will be going out in a few weeks. There will be a lot of opposition and we need your prayers.

Today I am trying to get back in the swing of things after being gone for about two weeks! Our family had a wonderful time in California! It was a joy to watch my cousin get married and celabrate his new life that he is beginning with his wife Michelle. After that we got to go down the coast and along the way visit with some of our friends and family.

We had some interesting things happen while we were out there where we got to witness to some people. It is amazing how open people are when you start talking about the Lord and also about their background. When we were in San Francisco it was sad to see the homeless and there was one guy who was in the train station who was on drugs I am sure and was trying to make a penny by singing and playing the guitar. It crossed my mind that these people probably had a job and a family and lost it all and look where they are now.

No matter what we need to remember that other people are struggling and have nothing to hold on to. That is why they need the Lord and we are the ones to tell them about it. We will be doing a series coming up where we will be talking about the great commission and what the Lord commands us to do and what it truly means for our life. This is a challenge that I have taken to heart to do.

This week we are doing an awesome program with our pastor. His name is Robby Gallaty and he has been at our church for two years. He is 33 and has only been saved for 7 years. He has an awesome testimony of how the Lord saved him and is using him for His kingdom. We will be doing a series called The Great Commission and what is the commission that the Lord commands each of us to do.

We will be airing this in August so stay tuned! In the mean time our family is going to California for two weeks. One reason we are going is because my cousin is getting married to a great girl who is from CA. After the wedding we will be going to see friends of the ministry while we are out there. So, pray for us as we go and also pray for our staff here in all the work that will still be going on while we are gone.

Well we have been very busy in the past few weeks. Our family took a vacation to Hilton Head Island with my dad's sister and all my cousins. We had a great week but it was too short. We are getting ready for a wedding too this summer! No not mine but my cousin Jeff. He has a great girl and ironically her name is Michelle too. So, that will be later this summer in CA.

Back here at the show we just did a taping with Dr. Stephen Meyer who talked on DNA and how the findingsof the scientific evidence goes away from Darwin's view of natural selection. We taped 10 programs for two days and it is going to be an excellent series. We hope to air that in early fall. In the coming weeks we have some great programs coming out. Also, if you watch this coming Sunday on Daystar or Inspiration Networks you will see me on the commercial at the end promoting our 3030 club. I hope that you will watch because we have another great week of our series on science.

When I looked to see when the last time was when I blogged it was about two months. My how time flies. It is hard to believe that summer is almost here. I do love summer because I love the sun and the water. Anywhere where there is a beach and a pool I am in heaven.

Right now we are doing a fundraiser for the month of May! This is something that my dad does not like to do but we have seen where the funds have gone down and people who promised to help us have not come through. We have been on for thirty years and that is because of faithful people who have helped us. We don't have a church to rely on so we really do depend on faithful supporters every month. We are asking for different amounts but if many people would give $100 a month that would so help us. I know times are tough but I also know that the Lord has blessed certain people and we are required to give unto the Lord what He has given us. We have received many gifts but we may have to cut back on certain stations. Air time now a days for just a half-hour is so expensive and eats up most of the money that comes in. We try to choose the stations that would be beneficial to us. I am asking you if you feel led to help us during this month. We can't continue without your help.

This is more from my heart today and I hope that maybe you can help us in some way. Our program is unique and different from anything else and we are here to help people come to know Jesus as their Saviour and to understand basic christianity.

With Easter being a little over a week away, I am reminded of how thankful I am for the Lord coming to earth and living as a man and then dying on a cruel cross for me and for you. But, the good news is that it does not end at the cross but begins with God's glorious resurrection. I have been to Israel twice and I was able to go to where the empty tomb is and it gives you chills to stand there and to know that Jesus was buried here but the grave could not hold Him. If you ever have a chance to go to Israel please go. It is a chance of a lifetime and it makes your Bible come alive so much! I pray that Easter is a special time in your life and the life of your families.

On another note, our Daniel series will be airing the third program this week. We have had a great response and we are thankful for that. We have some great programs lined up ahead and I hope that you will stay tuned. Continue to pray for this series especially as it goes around the world to many countries that can now see us on tv. Well, there is a couple of exciting things to share with you. We had Dr. Jimmy DeYoung come in last week and we did a series on the Book of Daniel. This will start to air in March. I am very excited about because we are putting it together with the book of Revelation and showing what the two books prophecy concerning the end times. I believe we are very close to Christ's return and this is a great study that you need at your church. In the mean time, there is a lot of editing and lots of graphics to put in the program. So, it will not be ready until the end of April.

The other thing to pray for is we and some of our staff are going to the National Religious Broadcasters convention this weekend. It is a convention for all radio and tv ministries. It is a great place for networking and for our staff to take some classes to benefit our ministry. Pray for us as we go and the Lord can bring up many projects too while we are there.

So, I don't know about you but I am ready for warmer weather and sunshine. I am glad that I am not in Washington D.C. I have quite a few friends that live in that area and they have never seen anything like this. I am a person who likes the different seasons but I think I have had enough cold.

In the mean time, we are pleased with the new time that we took on the Daystar Network that is reaching not only more people here but also overseas. Just in the past few weeks we have had people from the netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Phillipines and many others. It is exciting to see the response.

Next week we will be doing a taping with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung that I hope you will pray for. It is going to be on the book of Daniel and we are going to tie it to the Revelation series that we did a few weeks ago. Pray for us that we will be able to communicate what needs to be said and for our staff as they get ready for the taping.

This past week I have been reminded about how fortunate we are to live in the country that we do and I am also thankful for the many things that the Lord has given me. My heart breaks for the people in Haiti. It has been amazing to see the missionaries that are over there and for the christians who are living in that region. Many years ago my grandfather went to Haiti and had many evangelistic meetings. He loved those people and always looked forward to going.

When I see what those people are going through it makes our ministry even more important. We are gaining so many countries since we took the new time on Daystar. We not only reach people here in the US but I have heard personally from people in the UK, the Phillipines, India just to name a few. Please continue to pray for us as we reach the world. This is the time and the time is short.

Merry Christmas! Time has flown since I last wrote. This month is always busy for us! There are always lots of letters, christmas gifts and regular orders to get out . We are thankful for the year that the Lord has given us. He has been faithful to us in so many ways and He also opened the door for us to minister to people overseas as well as here in the United States.

This can be a busy time but we need to make time to remember what the Lord did for us in sending us His son. He always makes time for us but how many times do we forget Him? Do you know that in Luke 2 there was no room in the inn for Mary and Joesph to stay? The Greek word for inn is kataluma which means guest room. In those days the houses would have a guest room and so because that was full they ended up staying in where the cattle and horses would be. What a thought that the Lord Jesus came to earth and was born in a stable. There was no pomp or circumstance in the way that Jesus came.

I hope that you will take this into consideration this Christmas season. May you have a joyous Christmas with your family and friends. We could not do this ministry without you. We look forward to what the new year will bring.

I can't believe that it has been a month already since I last wrote! We have been very busy around the JA Show. One exciting thing that has come about is the fact we are going to take another time on the Daystar network that will not only reach more people here in the US but overseas as well. We are very excited for this opportunity to reach people in Europe and the middle east and many other countries. Pray for us that God will provide the resources that we need to do this.

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is in two weeks and Christmas is right around the corner. I do love Christmas with all the decorations and the music and the fellowship with friends and family. It truly is a unique time of the year and a time to reflect on what Christ did for us by coming to earth as a baby in a manger! What an awesome thing.

My how time flies. I just realized that this week I had not blogged in awhile. I realized this because we just had our family picture done this past week which means that we are getting closer to Christmas.

This weekend we are going to start our series on Israel and the Alignment of the Nations. This was a series that we did with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung and it is very relevant to what is happening today! I hope you will tune in this week!

In the mean time we are working on new programs that relate to prophecy and we have also been working on our christmas catalog that we will be sending out next month. Well, this month we are working on many different things. We are showing a series that we did a few months back with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung called Revelation Unfolding. After this series we are going to do our new series of Israel Under Fire. We are so excited because this book is out in our christian bookstores and also in places like Borders and Barnes and Noble. Anything you want to know concerning Israel both now and what is to come is explained in this documentary.

We are also looking towards Christmas. We are working on our christmas catalog which will go out next month. We are going to have some special deals so I hope that you will look at. We will also post it online too.

This week I want to share something that I heard in a sermon on Sunday! The preacher was talking about knowing the king and not just the kingdom. There are many people who go to church and because their family has been brought up in the church they think they are saved. My dad use to preach that we can know a lot of facts about Abraham Lincoln but have you ever met him personally. You can know alot of facts about Jesus Christ but do you know him personally? Having a relationship with the king of kings will transform your life! There is nothing greater than knowing him.

In our series on science we have been talking about God and how he created the universe. It is so amazing to see the facts and when you look at the universe you know that someone had to be behind it to make it. It just did not come altogether by accident. This past week we had a great response and if you have not seen it you need to watch. What amazes me is how the evidence shows that there was a creator and how if one thing was out of place life could not exist.

Today one of the ladies that works on our staff part time lost her mother today! It was a blessing because she was sick for awhile. They were a family that grew up on the mission field in Africa! How joyful it is for her to now be in Heaven and not to have any more pain! What a blessing to know that we have a place that is prepared for us when it is our turn to go!

This month we started a new series on science with Dr. Hugh Ross. The programs that we are airing show how the universe came about and how we can prove that there is a God! It is so fascinating. I hope that you will tune in to watch.

Last week I got to talk to some of our people who give to us every month. It was so interesting to hear what people do for a living and how the ministry has impacted their life. I talked to people who live in remote Alaska to people who live in the big cities of New York and Chicago. I thank the Lord for the people who have come across our ministry. We could not do it without them.

Well this week is the time for registration for school! Hard to believe that the summer is coming to an end. I know that when we get to August that Christmas is right around the corner! A friend of mine told me that she went into Hobby Lobby the other day and all their Christmas stuff was already out! That is a little early I think!

I feel for kids who are going back to school. The pressure is worse than when I was in school and the things they are being taught are just terrible. In our science classes we have that evolution is true and that God is not real. In history, the kids don't know who the first president was or how our country was founded to name a few.

Here at the John Ankerberg Show we tackle those issues and many others. We need to know how to respond to people to explain why we believe what we believe. Why is our God true compared to Allah or any other god? With your help we can get the truth out and we are thankful for the support. This summer has gone well and we thank the Lord for that!

I can't believe that another week is about gone and August will soon be here! We are still in the middle of our series on Oprah and the false gospel that she is presenting. This will be on for two more weeks and then we will go into some science programs that we did with Dr Hugh Ross which are very fascinating and show how we can believe that there is a true God!

A very interesting event happened to me this week that made me stop and really think about what happened! I was in the line at Starbucks and when I pulled up to the window I had my money ready for the girl. When she brought me my drink she told me that the lady that was in front of me paid for my drink. She said that the lady does one good deed each day and that was her deed for the day! It really made an impression on me and something that I want to do too! Whether she was a christian or not she showed that she cares for people. That is something that I am striving to do more and more. I love to help people and to pay for things when someone least expects it. This is something that we should all do and what a better place this world would be if we practiced this.

Well it has been awhile since I last wrote becuase we were gone on vacation with our family! This year we went to Hilton Head Island for a week with our family! We had 16 people all in one house. It was crazy but extremely fun! We decided this year that each day a different family was in charge of lunch and of cleaning up. That worked out great because once your day was done you did not have to do anything in the kitchen the rest of the week! I am already reay to go back! It was such a great place to relax and get away from the day to day stuff!

We just started our new series on Oprah and the false gospel that she is presenting to her viewers. I don't have a problem with her I just don't agree with what she says about christianity and how you can get to God. She is being pulled in by so many people who teach new age techniques and that there are many ways to God. Just think if she really got saved how her program would be transformed!

We do need to pray for her! I hope that you will tune in to watch this series that we did with our guest Dr. Erwin Lutzer.

It is hard to believe that the fall is right around the corner. Here in TN the kids will be starting school in 3 weeks. We have an exciting fall and we have new programs that we will be doing coming up! Again we thank you for your support and for helping us to spread the TRUE gospel.

It is hard to believe that another week is about finished! It has been wonderful to see how many people have responded to our series on prophecy. This information is so vital to get out because of all the things that are happening in our world today. From North Korea testing their nuclear bombs to what the world is saying about Israel and the promises that Obama is making with other countries, we are getting very close to the rapture.

The other day I was talking with some friends and I said if there was a particular time that I could have lived in it would have been the 50's. Not only do I love the music from that era but also I loved the clothes during that time. It was a happy time with no worries. Nowadays there is so much happening and alot that we should be fearful of. Yet, we know that God is in control and we are steps closer to the rapture happening.

Sorry I have not blogged in awhile but our family went overseas for a week to London England. It was a wonderful week and I love England. We spent most of the time there and we also went to Paris for a day. I did not realize how much history London has. It not only has to do with kings and queens but also about the history of christianity. One interesting place we visited were the bunkers during World War II where Winston Churchill and his wife and his cabinet of people stayed while London was being bombed. For many years they stayed down there and that is where he commanded from during the war. They still have it like it was in the 40's and it was amazing to see where they lived for so long and how they ran everything during the war. There were so many other places that we went and some things we did not get to because we ran out of time.

Now back to the ministry. Things are going well here! We are currently doing the series with Jimmy DeYoung on Revelation Unfolding and we have had many requests for it. It is a great series on current events and plus we have a syudy guide to go with it! Our next series will be on Oprah and what she is promoting as far as New Age Techniques. We will be offering a study guide with that so small groups can use it. Continue to pray for us and our staff! We have some staff that will be undergoing surgery and some have been sick so we need extra protection.

We have been very blessed that the programs are doing well! We started a new series this past week on Revelation Unfolding and it is with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. This time we talk about current events that are taking place with our country and with the countries overseas! What is neat about this series is the way that Dr. DeYoung describes the current events. Plus, we have new study guides that are coming out on this series and the old one we did called Step By Step Through Revelation!

Pray for this series that people may learn the truth and may even get saved as a result of what we are showing. Time is getting short! The laws that are being passed in congress are going to affect what we say on TV. We have a short window of opportunity to get out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

May is one of my favorite months! This month is full of graduations and school getting out and the excitement of summer to come! We are busy here at the John Ankerberg Show! This week we will be starting a new series on prophecy and current events that are taking place now! This series we did with Jimmy DeYoung and it is something that everybody need to get besides the one we did on the book of Revelation!

In the mean time we are finishing up a project that we are doing for our publisher that consists of a dvd and a book on Israel! This will be a great series but it takes time to edit the material and put together! So, we need lots of prayer to finish this project!

Today I was reminded of how short life is! We had a tragic accident of two boys who were in a car accident this past Friday night! The one that was driving is in the hospital and the other boy died on the scene! This is so tragic for their families, for their friends and for their school! It just goes to show that we never know when our last moment will be and are we ready to face the Lord?

This week our staff is still working on a project that we are doing for our publisher. It is a dvd and a book that goes along with Israel and Prophecy! This time of year is my favorite! This past weekend in Chattanooga it was beautiful! It is so neat to look around and see all that God has created and the colors this time of year seem to really show their beauty more!

One thing I wanted to share is that our pastor preached on yesterday was that Paul when he saw who he was he considered himself the biggest sinner or chief of anybody! After he got saved he never stopped preaching the gospel! That is like amny of us. When we first got saved we read our Bible and witnessed to whoever would listen But, as we have walked along that has become less important. Our mission is to spread the gospel no matter what! There are many people in the US who have never heard of Jesus Christ and what he can do for them! We need to be like Paul and keep going until the end because time is running out.

That is what we are trying to do. Right now we are still showing the series on Islam and Jihad! It is a great series but we have not had the response we wanted to see! I don't believe that Christians see Islam as a real threat and it is! We need to be informed because they are infiltrating our country every day! Allah is not God! Our God is alive and well and these people are so decieved! This is such an important topic to get out!

This week I watched a great video on YouTube like most people did. It was the lady who is 47 and sang for the British Idol. Here was a woman who walked out without a care in the world and everybody that saw her was wandering what she was doing on stage and could she sing? Well, she blew everybody away when she sang the first note including Simon! She has an incredible voice that no one knew about! I think that is like so many people who God has given talents to and nobody knows about them! It was just an inspiring video to watch. If you have not see it you need to watch.

We have been busy this week working on projects and I have been working on our monthly letter that is going out again! I know the month is about over when we do our letter and it is hard to believe that may is upon us! Right now we are showing the Islam series we did with Emir Caner on Jihad and it is a powerful series. I hope that you will tune in to watch. Well we finished a busy week last week with two tapings that we did with Jimmy DeYoung! One of those will be shown in the future. This week coming up we will be starting a new series on Islam and Jihad. We will be offering the new book that Dr. Caner and my dad wrote together and also a workbook that our staff has put together to go with the programs! This will be very useful for sunday school classes and just general classes that want to study what is behind Islam and what Jihad is! I hope you will tune in to this exciting series!

It was very sad to see how the storms have devastated so many homes especially this past weekend! Here in TN we had strong storms on Friday and a tornado touched down in Murfreesboro. Last night we had about 30-40 mile an hour winds where I thought the house would fly away! It goes to show the strength of the storms that are happening now and that we have no control over them. It also shows how quickly our possessions can be taken from us! We can't put our money into worldly things because they do not last!

Anyways, I hope that you will pray along with me for the people who have lost so much recently and also that you will pray for our ministry and for the programs that we are going to be showing. We take great risks in what we do but this is truth and this is what the Lord wants us to show.

It is hard to believe that April has come about! This week we did a taping with Dr. Erwin Lutzer on the topic of Oprah and the New Age. I am sure that many of you have seen that she has had friends on her program promoting the new age and she also has many new age courses that you can take too! Dr. Lutzer wrote a book on this and we taped 6 programs with him. I am not sure when we are going to show this on tv but the programs are very informative and every church needs to get this when we show this.

Our upcoming programs that we are going to be doing is on the historical Jesus and after Easter we will start our new series on Islam and Jihad! These programs are very controversial but the information is so important to get out! We will need a lot of prayer for these programs!

It is amazing to me how well the series on Revelation is doing! I can tell that people are hungry for the word and they want to know more about the things to come! We will be showing this one more week and after that we are going to do a series about Jesus' resurrection from three different series since Easter is right around the corner.

My dad is doing much better from his back surgery and he has been in the office this week! We are getting ready for some tapings and also my dad is working on some book projects in the mean time! We are very thankful as a staff that our ministry is doing as well as it is even during these tough times!

When we went to the National Religious Broadcasters Convention last month, they really stressed networking and getting your ministry out on such places like Facebook, YouTube and others. When we got back, we have been working on doing that! My dad now has a facebook page where we have posted pictures and where we also have a group that you can join called the John Ankerberg Show. This is run by our staff by I do show my dad who his friends are and what pictures and videos have been put up! This is producing some great results and we hope to continue to grow it more! This past weekend my mom and I went to Atlanta to see our family! My second cousin turned 1 and he is so adorable! When we go on vacation this year it will be very fun especially with him and seeing how he likes the water! I am glad that our family is so close that we can go down for a day! My aunts actually left yesterday to fly to Norway for some meetings that they are involved in with their job! So, pray for them if you think about it!

Things are moving along here at the show! My dad had minor back surgery but is doing well! We are making plans for the programs to come! We have been playing a series on Revelation that Dr. Jimmy DeYoung did on our program! We are very thankful for the response that we have received! Times are getting hard especially for small businesses like ours! We do not know what the future holds but we know God is in control! I am saddened by the loss of jobs that people have experienced in this country! I always want to help people and I wish I had lots of money so that I could help those in need and get them back on their feet! Well this week I am going to stray a little from talking about the ministry happenings. I am a person who gets pulled into shows like American Idol. Now, the reason I like it is because I love to hear the voices that people have(whether good or bad) and I do like to hear what Simon says! Now whether you agree with me or not Simon is usually right about people. Many people do not like him because he bluntly says what he thought about the person and their song. Now, sometimes I do disagree with him but most of the time he is right! It got me thinking about the fact that in our lives we need people to tell us bluntly how we are doing in our walk! We need to be accountable to each other more often! I know that in my life that I should be more accountable to people who really need it or to say how are you doing in your walk? I don't have to be a Simon but I can definitely help people in their walk by being honest with them!

Much has happened this month! At the beginning we went to our regular Religious Broadcasters Convention which was in Nashville! We heard Anne Graham Lotz and John MacArthur, Charles Stanley and scores more! We also made some good contacts with people and we also are planning some upcoming projects.

Right now we are working on a new series on Islam that we taped with Dr. Emir Caner! He has been on our program before with his brother. He has co-authored two books with my dad called Islam and Jihad and Islam and Women. The programs we taped are on those topics. It is great material and something that every church needs to be informed about!

The Lord is opening some exciting doors but we need his wisdom and leading in what we are to do in the months ahead! Thank you for your prayers and support! Our ministry is a unique ministry that God has given us and we want to use it for His glory!

Well, how time can get away! It is hard to believe that it is February already! Part of January our family went to California to see some donors and spend a little vacation in the desert! It was wonderful! The temperature was 80 degrees everyday we were there! Back at the ranch in Chattanooga, they closed the schools because it was so cold! That has never happened in the time that I have lived in TN!

We just did a great series with Emir Caner who use to be a former muslim! We hope to air that program in March. In these programs Emir talks about Islam and Women and Islam and Jihad. I hope that you will tune in to hear this vital information.

On another note I hope that you will continue to pray for our staff and for my dad! We have some of our staff that have spouses going through surgery and need our prayers. Especially pray for the programs and the subjects that we are dealing with. Before long we may not be able to put out the information that is so vital for Christians and Nonchristians!

When I looked today, I saw it had been a month since I had written. I could not believe it! We are busy at the John Ankerberg Show! We are working on letters going out and also on christmas orders and gifts. It is non-stop! I really do love this time of year with all the gifts and lights and being together with family! It just seems to go by too fast anymores. People use to tell me that when I got out of college time would fly. I believe it now for sure!

I love this time of the year! Hard to believe that it is October! This is the time that we start getting ready for Christmas. Right now we are working on a catalog to send out for Christmas among other things. There are some great offers that we will have that maybe you could get for your family and friends.

I know that financially times are hard right now! It is also hard for ministries. We need people like you to help or we will cease to exist. Many of the networks we are on do not give you 90 days to get your money in. They want it right away or else that is it. The Lord has given us this ministry and we take each day by faith! We just got back from our trip to CA. It was a good trip and we met with some of donors who give to the ministry. I like visiting CA. I would not want to live there though with the earthquakes and fires. Some of the people we saw the fires came very close to their house and because of the winds they get they had a lot of destruction.

There is so much going on right now in our country and our world. Between the election and the economy and the uprising of countried overseas it is good to know that God is in control. at our church we have been going through a series on Revelation. Many people shy away from studying revelation but in the midst of the tribulation that will happen many people will be saved and in the end the Devil will be destroyed and God will reign forever. I think of all the kings and Presidents and how they will one day bow down to God. So many think that what is happening now is so bad but they have not seen anything yet. Our God is a loving God and a God who is judge also. We are definitely getting ready for the end times. What a day that will be when He returns.

This weekend we are starting a great series with Janet Parshall , Craig Parshall and Dr. Frank Wright. Many of you have heard Janet on the radio. Her husband Craig is the lawyer for the National Religious Broadcasters Convention and Dr. Frank Wright is President of the Religious Broadcasters Convention. These three discuss the issues that are going to come up with this next election and why it is important for christians to vote. God commands us to do it. He was a wonderful christian man who loved the Lord and did all he could for the kingdom. He also was very funny and always had a joke. We miss him but he is so much better off now and we will see him again.

Well, our family just got back from Europe. What a trip it was! We started in Rome and we saw the roman forum, the Colosseum, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel! I loved Rome! What a place and to see so many of the places where Paul was at. We saw where he was imprisoned and it is so hard to believe that he lived in places like that for a long period of time. You definitely have more respect for Paul and all that he went through. We then left on a 10 day cruise that went to Florence, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Naples and Pompeii, Tunisia Africa, the island of Malta and Sicily. Each place was unique and to see the culture and eat the food was fabulous! After we finished the cruise we went to Switzerland for a couple of days. All in all it was a great trip!

On this trip we were able to witness to our guides and the ones who worked on the ship. One of the guys who was a waiter at our table just got married in December and left to come work on Holland America until next March. I can't imagine the sacrifice he is making but to work on the ship is wonderful for the Indonesian people. He has such a nice smile and was very open to the gospel. It was neat to see how our guides reacted when we were witnessing to them. They know so much history and they also know that there was a man named Jesus Christ but they did not understand the whole picture of Christianity and the relationship you can have with Him. It was neat to stand in churches and present the gospel!

I say all this because you never know when you will have an opportunity to witness to people and how hungry they are for the Word of God!

Well, I hope that everybody had a wonderful fourth! There is so much to be thankful for! Here in Chattanooga there were many firework displays that went on all weekend! We even had a great show in our neighbourhood.

Well, this week we are getting ready for a ministry trip to Europe! We will be gone three weeks so I hope that you will pray for us as we go. We are trying to get things ready in the meantime which takes time to do! When we get back it will be August and time for school to start again! Hard to believe how fast this summer is going!

We will be doing a taping in August with Janet Parschall and her husband and Dr. Frank Wright who is the president of the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. This will be a series you will want to buy. It is all about the laws and decisions that affect us both now and in the election ahead. We will also be airing out next series on Israel. Well, this past Sunday was Father's Day! I am very grateful for my father and that the Lord has allowed him to live longer. It was just two years ago that he went in for open heart surgery. It is one thing when something happens to say your aunts and uncles or your grandparents, but when it comes to your parents it really hits home. I knew that the Lord would bring him through but it was still a valley that the Lord took my mom and myself through that I learned to trust him more. The passage in the Bible that helped me through that time was Psalm 103. I had heard Dr. Michael Easley preach on this the Sunday before my dad went in for tests and I did not know how much that passage would mean to me. I hope you will read that today. It is very comforting and encouraging.

Things are going well here at the ministry. We are getting ready for new programs to come up and my dad is working on some other books that are coming out soon. I hope that you will continue to pray for his strength and for guidance as we try to figure out what we need to do for this fall!

Well, we just got back from a wonderful week at the beach with our family. We had 12 people , a baby and two dogs. Needless to say it was quite hectic. Speaking of the new baby, he was born three months ago to my cousin and her husband. His name is Levi and he is so precious. It is amazing to me how things are changing rapidly in our family. I look at my cousins who not long ago were small and now they are in college and wanting to be pastors or some kind of teachers. How fast time goes by.

Anyways, now it is back to work and we have just a few weeks to get things done before we go on our cruise to Rome. Our staff is working overtime right now which is tough but we need the Lord's help and I hope you will continue to pray for my dad and our staff in all that is being accompished. The Lord has been very gracious to us and we thank Him for that everyday!

Well, today I am very excited because this week coming up we are going on vacation with our family! This is our annual beach trip! This year we have 12 people with a baby and two dogs that will be going! It will be a wild time!

I hope that you have been watching the series we are doing on Israel. This series has taken a long time to put together because there are so many graphics to go along with the material we are presenting. Many people think that my dad just gets on and talks every week but he is the writer, producer and everything else that comes along with putting a tv special together. I hope you will pray for him along with our staff. Everybody works so hard and long hours. No one has any idea how long things take and if computers don't work that puts you behind even more!

The next series we will be going to will be with Dr. Richard Land who use to be the head of the Southern Baptist convention and Dr. Erwin Lutzer who is pastor of Moody Memorial Church in Chicago, IL. They will be discussing issues with politics and christians and should we be involved and what side does God favor? Does he favor democrats or republicans? Should we as christians be involved with politics? They have some great insight into all of this. Those programs will start in June. So pray for those programs as they go out.

It is hard to believe that May is here. In our family May is a big month because not only do I have two cousins who have birthdays but my mom's birthday is this month also. I have to brag a little on my mom. She is a godly woman who is behind my dad 100%. I don't know what my dad would do without her. She carries so many jobs not just at work but she also takes care of her mother and her own family as well. I am very thankful for my mother and all she does. She will definitely be rewarded someday!

We are in the process of editing our newest program on Israel. Speaking of which ,today is the anniversary of the state of Israel. What a day that was for them 60 years ago. I hope you will tune into our program because no one else has the footage and the material that we do on the subject of Israel.

One last thing I want to comment on is how saddened I am to hear about the earthquake in China and the disasters that have happened in many places overseas and here in the US. It just goes to show that we are getting closer to the Lord's return. The Bible talks about earthquakes and disasters that will happen in the end times. I hope that you are ready like I am for the Lord's return! How exciting to know how close it could be!

My how time flies and I forgot that it had been a whole month since I had written. In April my parents flew to Israel and taped for over two weeks a series with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung that we are going to start airing on May 11. It is going to be on the 60th anniversary of Israel and I hope you will tune in because there is some great information. Meanwhile, we have been busy at the office doing tapings and our series right now on Islam has gone very well. I have loved talking to new people that have never seen the show!

This past weekend we went to a conference in Branson MO. That was my first time there and it was beautiful. My dad spoke along with Dr. David Jeremiah, Kay Arthur and Norman Geisler just to name a few. Many people were saved and that was wonderful to see! We were not able to see any shows but we went to a restaurant that Andy Williams owns and it was great food. He still comes in every day and checks what is on the menu and he performs six nights a week and sings for an hour. He is remarkable at the age he is. So, if you ever go to Branson go to the Moon River cafe. It was great!

You have not heard from me because I was on vacation last week in Hilton Head Island. It was beautiful weather and a much needed break! So, this week has been catch up for me. We are getting ready to do some programs that have to do with Israel and so mom and dad are traveling right now both here and overseas.

The work has been busy and it is not stop. We have had a good response to our current program which is on the Protestans and Catholics and what they agree on and disagree on. It has brought about some interesting calls. Our next program we are going to is going to be on Islam. I love the Islam series we did because the two brothers we had on were former muslims and to hear their story of how they came to know the Lord is so fascinating. This information is so good and I hope you will tune in to hear it.

I almost forgot that it has been awhile since I have updated what has been happening. This past weekend we went to the National Religious Broadcasters Convention which was held in Nashville TN. It was a great weekend and we were able to hear the President of The US too! He came and spoke for our group on Tuesday. What a sincere man. Whether you voted for him or not, he is a man of God. He gave his testimony of how he came to know the Lord and he talked about things with the war and then he ended with how much of a pleasure it was to serve all of us over the past couple of years. I have never heard a president say what a pleasure it was to serve.

I am not trying to be political but there are a lot of issues that are important with this next election. Not just about picking the right judges or taking a stand for life, but also issues with us as broadcasters that may no longer be able to broadcast because of hate crimes and the fairness doctrine. So, we need to start praying now for the right person to be put in.

I want to say thank you for your support in the past few weeks - we have received many donations to help our financial crisi and we are very thankful. Last night I read in Philippians the verse that says "But My God Shall supply all your needs". How true this is. The Lord does come through for us in His timing.

We have seen many miracles and it is only through the Lord that these things happen. I don't know what we would do without Him. What a God we serve.

On a political note I attended a dinner this past weekend for Republicans. It was very informative especially about the presidential race and we had some of our senators there that represent our state. In my spare time I try to get involved with a group here called the Young Republicans. I enjoy it because you get to hear what is happening with the party that I vote for.

Well, continue to pray for our ministry this week. My dad is getting ready to do some other projects and they require time and money. Continue also to pray for his strength each day - he definitely needs it!

Well, it has been a few days since I have written. It has been very busy at our office. One thing we are facing is the financial difficulties. In our ministry, we face this a lot. During the times when you think that you are done, the Lord comes through for you and He already knows these things will happen.

I decided on my own to give more than half of what I make to our ministry. I did not do that to bring attention to myself. I gave because it is God's money and not mine. I am a person who gives continually and I want to help people. We have a need and I felt the Lord telling me to give. That is exactly what I did.

I want to say thank you for those of you who stand behind our ministry. If you really knew my dad you would see how much his heart is in this ministry and we are here for you and to help you in your christian walk. We follow the verse that says "Be Ready to give an answer". We want to equip others with what to say.

Well, yesterday my parents got home from traveling for two weeks. They had a good trip but trying to get back into the work that is here. It is nice to have them back because I take on a few more responsibilities when they are gone. I don't mind it but I am taking care of their house, my grandmother nd our office. Life gets to be fun.

I am glad that January is almost over. It is such a boring month to me. First, all the decorations are down so things look dark. Second, it has been extremely cold here. In TN we are not use to temperatures staying in the range of 19-25 degrees. Now, I know that is a heat wave to some people but for us in the south that is cold. We even got some snow which was beautiful. I figure if it is going to be this cold we might as well have more snow.

This month is a hard month for us at the ministry finance wise. I credit my dad so much because he is very careful with spending God's money and using it for the right purposes. That is one thing I will take away with me about my dad is how wise he is in the decisions that are made. Thank you for standing with us and continue to pray for our ministry.

Well, I can't believe where the time has gone - January is flying by. It has been very busy around here. I finally feel like I am catching up! Right now my parents are gone. They are meeting with folks who give to our ministry. It is nice when they are gone because we can actually get things done around the office. I am finally getting caught up which is rare.

We just finished a series we did on the tv program "Lost". I don't know if you watch it but I am an avid fan and it is very interesting how the show has christian themes throughout. If you have not watched it you should. It definitely is a deep program and has lots of symbolism.

Coming up this Sunday we are starting a new series we taped of a debate on the book of Revelation. It was between Mark Hitchcock and Mr. Hank Hanegraaff. It was very interesting and both sides presented their cases. I hope you will watch.

I hope you will continue to pray for the ministry. January is always hard because it is after Christmas and so our giving is usually low. We are the ONLY apologetics ministry that presents and defends the faith and we can not do it without the help of people. So, I hope that you will give if the Lord allows you too and also pray.

Well, I can't believe that tomorrow is a new year! It is hard to believe that 2007 is over. I hope that each of you had a nice Christmas! We had family on my dad's side to come to our house. That included 13 people and two dogs. We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was much calmer than last year. Last year part of our family came down with the stomach virus and it was not a pretty sight. I enjoy family so much especially since I am an only child. This year we did not even cook at home. We ended up going out to eat both days which was a nice break for my mom.

Another highlight was my birthday was yesterday and I turned 30. Very hard for me to believe but I am excited for a new decade. This weekend I am having a party to really celebrate the momentous number!

I hope each of you have a wonderful new year and I know that I want to make 2008 the best year possible and do everything I can to serve the Lord more.

Well, this has been a busy week. Right now I am working on letter number 4 that we send out in December. Along with that we are sending out our christmas orders and other materials that people have requested. On top of everything I went with my parents to Dallas this past weekend for a conference and also to help with the taping we did on the topic of dating the book of Revelation. That went very well. It was so cold in Dallas and they almost got some ice. It was foggy and cloudy every day we were there.

This weekend my mom and I are singing in our choir for the christmas musical at our church and also we are trying to finish last minute details for Christmas. After this weekend we have one more taping we are doing as a follow up to the debate we taped this past weekend. That will be on Wednesday. So, needless to say it is going to be busy up until Christmas.

One thing that was very interesting this past weekend was that many people at the conference (which was a pre-trib conference) were there because of our program. It was so neat to hear all the stories of how our program has changed lives through the years.

Well, here it is a few weeks before Christmas. It is hard to believe that it is the end of the year. This year, my mom and I started early on shopping and we only have two people left. One of them happens to be my dad. I know that might be suprising but he is a hard person to buy for.

This weekend we are going to Dallas for a pre-trib conference that we are helping out with. We are taking some of our staff so I hope that you will pray for us as we go!

This is a busy time at the office. In the month of December we do three mailings and a gift ot our top givers. So, I am halfway through with all the mailings and gifts that we send out. That does not include the regular orders and christmas orders that we send out. The key is to stay on top of everything.

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is over? It is hard to believe that Christmas is a month away. Our Thanksgiving was very peaceful this year. We actually went out to eat because it was just our immediate family and no extended family. Overall it was a relaxing weekend and we even got half of our christmas shopping done. I have to hand it to the people who get up early and go on black Friday! I could not do that. My mom and I went shopping on Saturday and there were no people and there were bargains too! It was great!

So, we start another week. We covet your prayers for the ministry as we end this year. There are many exciting things to come and the Lord keeps opening doors up!

It has been over a year since my dad's surgery and he is doing well. He is much stronger and is able to do more things than before. I hope you will continue to pray for him and all the pressures he has upon him.

This past weekend I went with my parents and some of our staff to a conference that Southern Evangelical (Norman Geisler's school) did. There were about 4,000 people that attended. They had speakers such as Josh McDowell and his son, Erwin Lutzer, Gary Habermas and many others. My dad spoke on Saturday morning and the interesting thing was that many people had never heard of our ministry and it was their first time to come to this conference.

I enjoyed so much meeting the people at our booktable! It was a wonderful conference and there were people who gave their life to the Lord. That makes it all worth while.

On another note, it is Thanksgiving next week! Time has gone too fast! At our house, we are busy decorating for christmas. We have family on my dad's side that comes and it takes awhile to put up the decorations. I know that this year I have a lot to be thankful for! At this time last year my dad was about to go into surgery. I thank the Lord that he saved my dad's life and he is still around to do the ministry God has called him to do! He is doing very well and I hope that you will continue to pray for him and that he contiues to have the strength he needs for each day! There is a lot to do in running a ministry but we are thankful for what the Lord is doing.

We are also thankful that the Lord opened the door to go back on the Inspirational Network this past weekend! Many people that have not been able to see us can watch us once again! Can you believe how close we are to Christmas? Where has this year gone? This past weekend I went to Nashville with some friends from college. It was so much fun! It was so good to be together. That is one thing I miss about college is my friends because we are all spread out.

We are in the midst of all our conferences and traveling quite a bit. Last weekend my parents were a part of a conference in Dallas where the topic was about Jesus and the media. This next weekend we are going to Charlotte, NC for an apologetics conference that my dad is speaking at.

I hope that you will continue to pray for our ministry and this time of year because we are starting on new stations both for radio and tv and for all our engagements that we are involved in.

I can't believe that it is almost the end of October. This week is a short week because I am leaving to go to Nashville to see some college friends for the weekend and my parents are going to Dallas for the weekend for a conference and also for a banquet that we are doing for the ministry. One exciting thing we found out this week is that we have been given a one minute slot on Moody radio every day to promote the program. We are very thankful for this opening and we pray that new people will be able to find us. Well once again I am working on our appeal letter and getting the booktable together that we will be doing in Dallas the end of October. So, it is very busy around here.

The last weekend my parents and part of our staff will be in Dallas for a conference and they will also be doing a banquet. I hope that you will pray for them that weekend and for their safety as they go!

We had some good news happen this past week! Some very generous donors helped us to get back on INSP at a very good time. The time is at 9:30 p.m. eastern time on Sunday night! This week has gone fast - we are getting ready for conferences and booktables and letters to go out - this gets to be our busy time but one that is very fruitful too!

My parents are gone again this weekend for another business trip! This past week my dad along with his co-writer Dillon Burroughs did many radio interviews on their new book "What's the Big Deal About Jesus". We have some resources from those interviews on the website. That book is a great one to give people because my dad has put together many inerviews with the scholars on who Jesus is and who the media trys to portray him.

In the mean time, we are working out to hopefully have a three minute deal on the radio about our program that will air on Moody and hopefully some other stations. This is an answer to prayer and I hope that you will continue to pray that we can get on some more radio stations and help that expand like the t.v.

Our ministry is very small and the expenses are very big! We could not do it without faithful people who will give and help us to continue to defend the Word of God!

I can't believe that it is October 2 already. My parents just got back from a trip to CA. In the mean time, we are gearing up for the fall and for the different conferences coming up! Right now we are airing the series that we did with Lee Strobel. If you don't have this series, I hope that you will get it for yourself or for a friend. What I like about this series is that Lee Strobel was an editor for the Chicago Tribune and was an atheist right down the line. Because his wife got saved he started to investigate who Jesus Christ was. He explains this and also about how the media is destroying the person and character of God.

I hope you will pray for us and for my dad. He is doing very well but he still needs prayer for the conferences and programs that are coming up! I hope you will also pray for our staff and for the many responsibilities that we all have. Many of us are doing 5 different jobs because we are so small. If one person is out it slows us down. Don't the weeks fly by - once again we have started our monthly mailing here at the show and we have a busy fall coming up!

This weekend my parents are traveling out to California to visit some of our donors. I hope that you will pray for them as they go. We have some exciting events coming up this fall that we are doing or helping out with. It is amazing to see how the Lord works in situations.

It is hard to believe that 6 years has passed since the attacks on 9/11. When we went to New York last week, I was trying to fathom all that went on that day! It really gives you goose bumps when you go down to ground zero. We talked to several of the people working in the stores around there and they were not there on 9/11. They said that the terroists may have killed thousands of people but they did not change anything.

There could be more attacks to come but thanks to our security we have been safe! Whether you agree with the war going on or not, the terroists are all over the world and in their religion of Islam they don't care about life. Their mission is to kill and be rewarded for that!

I hope that today you will say a prayer for our military, our president and the other leaders for all that they are doing!

I remember in school when I never heard of islamic terroists. Bin Laden was never named. Now, all of this is a threat and will continue to be until the Lord returns.

Well, we just got back from our trip up north! We went to a conference in New Jersey called America's Keswick. It is a wonderful bible conference that my dad spoke at for their final weekend of summer events. One thing they do there that nobody else has done is they have a place called the Colony where men who have had problems with drugs and alcohol can come and be under a strict regiment everyday and also hear the word of God spoken each day. The men are on a waiting list and they also go through an interview before they are let in. It is a wonderful program and so many stories of how men have come to know the Lord and also how they have regained their life once more.

After the conference we went to New York. We walked all around and went to a show. We also got to go down to where the WTC used to be. Right now it is under construction to rebuild the subway system and they will eventually rebuild some buildings and make a memorial to the victims of 9/11. It is hard to believe that those buildings are gone. It was a very moving sight and to know what went on that horrific day! I hope that we as Americans will never forget 9/11. I think we are starting too! I know that the New Yorkans have not forgotten and they have been forever changed!

Just wanted to update the fact that our taping went well on Thursday! We taped Lee Strobel who use to be a former atheist and now is a christian and was explaining the evidence that he came to about who Jesus was! It was a great day hearing from him! We will start to air those programs the week after Labor Day.

Pray for our family this weekend! We are going to be going up north where my dad is speaking at a conference. We are also going to take a little vacation in New York City too! I am very excited to go! The last time we were in New York was a few days before 9/11.

I wanted to share with some of you that over the past couple of weeks I have talked to some people who have really been impacted by the series that we are doing on creation! I had quite a few women who called and said that the program was an encouragement to their husbands because of circumstances they were in at the moment. I also had a lady call from Colorado who said that her son was glued to the tv and she was ordering two so that he could have one and also so she could give one to his science teacher.

This week we are taping a new series with Lee Strobel. He was a former editor of the Chicago Tribune and a former atheist. Because of the evidence he found he became a christian. We are going to be talking to him on his experience and also on his new book that he has out. This will start airing in September after Labor Day! I hope that you will join in and watch.

It is so hot here this week as it is in so many other places. Today it is going to be 98 and the heat index will be well over 100 degrees! This is the time of year I feel bad for people who drive delivery trucks because they have no air!

I found out some bad news this past week. I have a friend who her husband was in the Army 7 years ago. He has been out but just last week they called him up to train and possibly go to Iraq. He was trying to get into the Navy as a chaplain but the Lord must have a different purpose for his life right now! I hope you will pray for him and for the other ones who are being called up! I know most people do not like the war and yes I would like for our soldiers to come home, but there is a job to do and we can not let the insurgents come over again to our country. I think that most people do not realize how much that the Muslims are taking over not only our country but around the world. Even in our city we have a mosque. We are definitely getting close to the end times.

Here at the ministry we are now showing the creation series we taped with Hugh Ross. It is so interesting to see our world and how it came about! I hope that you will tune in to watch!

I love talking to so many of our viewers. I talked to a lady just yesterday from South Africa who watches our program on Daystar and this weekend was the first time she had seen the program! How wonderful to know that when you send your donations to us we are helping people around the world!

First of all I want to say that I am praying for those people who have lost loved ones or ones that are missing in Minnesota. I have never seen anything like that before where the bridge just crumbled beneath those people. It is so sad how not a day goes by that something does not happen!

On another note, I was very saddened to hear about Robin Robert's breast cancer. My grandmother has breast cancer and so far she has been in the clear. Robin seems like a neat woman and is very kind and sensitive. We need to take it on ourselves to pray for her and what she is going through.

We are busy here at the ministry. We are getting ready to tape Mr Lee Strobel on his new book that is out. That will be the end of August. We are also planning the fall and my dad is going to be speaking at several places. He spoke at our church this past Sunday and that is really the first time he has preached since his surgery. He is doing better and goes again to get his checkup! He still needs prayer for strength each day!

The last thing I want to share is our family found out some exciting news. My cousin is going to have a baby in March which will be the first one. That will definitely change things when we go on vacation as a family next summer! I am so excited for her!

Well, I think I am back in the swing of things. The four hour time difference has really thrown me for a loop! It usually does not take me this long to get back into the right time! What is strange is to see darkness because for two weeks I never saw it!

Next year, we are planning on taking a trip to Rome and do a cruise from Rome and we will be going to Florence, Naples, Monte Carlo and Pompeii just to name a few places. This will be in July and the airfare is included with the cruise. I hope that you will consider coming. You can get more details on our website or we will be glad to send a brochure to you. I hope that you will consider this.

Can you believe how fast the summer is going? I am shocked that we are almost into August. I think with being gone that has made the summer go faster. As my friends say I am never home and they wonder where in the world I am now! We are getting ready for the fall and my dad is planning some speaking engagements. I hope that you will continue to pray for him as he needs continued strength each day!

Well, we just got back from our trip to Alaska! What a beautiful state to see God's creation. We did a cruise that left from Vancouver and went to Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, Icy Point Strait and we saw the Hubbard Glacier. The cruise was a week and we had 15 people in our group that went.

It rained and was pretty cold but it definitely gave us the flavor of Alaska. Did you know that as of right now they are losing 5 minutes a day of sunlight? They have only 3-4 hours of light in the winter time and the rest it is completely dark. This is the best time to go because in the winter it can be 50 below zero and snow is all around.

After the cruise we went from Anchorage up to Denali National park by train which took 8 hours. It was so much fun. The scenery was beautiful! We were able to eat breakfast and lunch on the train. In Denali park, we went on a tour that was about 8 hours where we went through the park and got to see a lot of wildlife. We saw grizzly bears, moose, caribou, a wolfe, rabbits, the state bird, eagles and on and on I could go. We were also able to see the bottom and the summitt of Mt. McKinley. It was beautiful! After being in Denali we left and went back by train to Fairbanks and did some touring there before we flew home.

We were very thankful that we made all our planes on time and there were no big delays. Our bags did not get home with us until the next day but at least we were home! If you ever get the chance to go to Alaska you need to take the train out of Anchorage or Fairbanks that goes to denali park. That shows Alaska in all its glory. Alaska is so unique and is so different from the rest of the US. You almost feel like you are in another country.

Now that we are back, it is time to get in the swing of things again. I will let you know more of what is coming up next week!

So, I am busy getting ready to leave for our trip to Alaska! I am very excited about it! It is always figuring out what to take to wear! Some places we are going will be warm and other places will be cold! I think that it will actually be very cool for us since we have been use to 90 degree weather and humidity. We have a great group of people going and it will be nice to have a small group to tour Alaska with.

We have some exciting things coming up! We are trying to set up new proga,s that are relevant and my dad has several books that will be coming out in the next year! The one book we are excited about is called "What's the Big Deal About Jesus?". This will come out the first of August. There are many things my dad put in the book that he has not aired and I hope that you will get it and read it and also share the book with friends and family.

Well, that is it until we get back which will be in about two weeks. It is hard to believe that next week is the Fourth of July! Time is going quickly!

I am sure that many of you saw the sad story of the mother in Ohio who was killed. They came out with the fact that her boyfriend had been drinking and after he left the bar he was at he went to her house to kill her! On the Today Show, there was a girl that I saw who had a relationship with the same guy and she talked about how dangerous he was and how he stalked her. I think it is great how the community came out and helped to find this girl, but I also see a sad situation where this girl could still be alive. This world is getting to be more and more scary to live in because of people! We are just passing through and this world is so not our home! What a great truth! I know that we should pray for this girl's family and aslo for her boyfriend that he might see the truth.

This week we are getting ready to leave for our trip to Alaska. We actually don't go until next Tuesday, but there are many things to be done! I am so looking forward to our trip! There will be much to tell when we get back!
