As we end the months of summer and embark upon fall we have many exciting things happening around here at the John Ankerberg Show Staff. First, we have two new series that we will be taping and airing in the next couple of months. One will be on Heaven with Randy Alcorn that we will tape in October. The other series will be on living the Christ life with Wayne Barber who is a local pastor in Chattanooga, TN.

These will both be great series that you can give to your family and friends. In the mean time, we are going to be doing a fundraiser and offering a package on prophecy and some other series that we have done in the next two months. We never like to do fundraisers but sometimes we have to raise the money that we need to continue. Many people think that being on christian networks they give you the time for free but we have to pay just like everybody else. I hope that you will pray about what you can give to help us. Every little bit helps whether it is $25 or $1000.

I can't tell you how much it means to our family and staff when people give to this ministry. We don't  have any backing except people like you who support us. Every things that comes in goes towards spreading the gospel. Besides the t.v., we are also using the support that comes in for our website, radio, books, and many other things. We are privileged that we can use our funds to go into other countries. This is the heart of my dad and will be until the end. We have a short amount of time to get the gospel out and we need your help.

It is hard to believe that the summer is almost gone! We went to the beach last week with our family and it is so funny how those weeks fly by when you are having fun! It was a great week to get away and  enjoy what God has created.

We are already planning for the fall and for Christmas. We have some exciting programs that are coming up. One series will be with Randy Alcorn on Heaven that will be taped in October. This is such a popular topic because everybody wants to know about Heaven and the ones who are not saved want to know where they are going! Another series will be a series on grace where we will bring in a  pasto and friend from Chattanooga. These plus some others will be showing and I hope that you will be able to tune in!

In the mean time, our world is in such turmoil and we know the Lord is close to coming back! We have a short amount of time to get things done and we need your help and your prayers. We can't do this ministry without people who will support us and pray for us.

I want to say first that this month we have been doing an encouraging series on how you face suffering with our guests Joni Eareckson Tada and Michael Easley. I have known both of these people for some time and they were such an encouragement when they came to do the program. When I look at what they both face everyday, my sufferings seem like nothing.

I hope that you will consider ordering this for a friend or family member that is facing suffering. We all face some sort of suffering and the two series that we did with them I know will be such an encouragement.

Coming up in May and June we will be doing a series with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung that has to do with the book of Ezekiel and also with current prophecy that is taking place. Dr. DeYoung is so knowledgeable and it is exciting to hear how what the Bible predicts will take place is happening. This is a great series to do a study on or to give to your unsaved friends.

I want to thank each of you for your support! We just finished a fundraiser and we were overwhelmed at the money the Lord provided. We can't do this ministry without your support and prayers. This is God's ministry and we want to do all we can to reach the world for Christ.

We have some exciting things coming up for this month. On the 15th, we have Michael Easley and Joni Eareckson Tada coming to do a program on suffering. I am so excited about this program because in this day and time there are so many people that deal with suffering in some form. I believe this can make a real impact and I pray that you will pray for these programs as we tape them and that for both of our guests you will give them strength to do the taping.

We hope to play this program in May. Coming up in March we will be taping again with Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. There is so much that has been happening in the news about the Middle East. It is exciting to see how the things the Bible predicts will happen are happening. This will be another great program that I hope you will pray for and give to your unsaved friends because these events are happening right now!

Of course, we can not do these programs without your help and support! We need your prayers more than ever! Being on t.v. is very expensive and we are very thankful the Lord has allowed us to be on certain stations to spread His word.

Well here we are in 2012. A brand new year to look forward to all that God has in store for us as Christians. We are so excited here at the ministry of the different programs that we are going to be doing soon!

Right now we are doing a great series on Mormonism and to show how they truly are not Christians. We will be airing this series through the month of January. Then in February we are going to tape a program on suffering with Michael Easley and Joni E. Tada. This is going to be a great series and one that you will not want to miss. In March we will be taping Jimmy DeYoung again about what is happening in prophecy right now. If you look back at this last year you can see how things that the Bible predicts are coming true! What an exciting time to be living in!

There are so many more things to come! Of course, we can't do any of this without your help and support! We thank the Lord for all of you! Our heart is to proclaim the gospel and to see people get saved! All we want to do is to preach the TRUTH and that is JESUS CHRIST!

Well, it is that time of the year again when there is so much going on that we forget the true meaning of this season. I know we hear that a lot but it is true! In the time when Jesus was born, they were not out shopping or having parties. In some ways, I wish it was that simple so we could just focus on Jesus and Him alone.

I hope that this will be the merriest christmas for you and for your family! I love the time that we can spend with family and focus on the fact that Jesus came to this earth to be born so He could die! He did that for us and there is no way we can ever repay Him for what He did! What a wonderful Savior!

We are thankful for those of you who support us and I pray that you will join with us as we serve our Lord this coming year!

This month is a wonderful reminder of God's faithfulness in our lives. We have gone through a period of a dry spell but the Lord continues to show that His work is still needed.

I always stress that we can't do this ministry without your help. I believe that the Lord's return is coming soon and I believe that the Lord has given us wonderful people to help us in spreading the gospel.

I hope that you will take time to give thanks for the blessings the Lord has give you and for your family too. I want to say thanks to all of our supporters and to let you know how much we appreciate you! The Lord is using you to help us spread His gospel in a world that now more than ever needs Him!
